Yoo Yeon Seok teared up while talking about his mom.

On tvN "Youth Over Flower" aired on September 26, Yoo Yeon Seok said, "I gave allowance to my parents for the first time after drama 'Respond 1994' ended. My bank account which was negative went positive for the first time too."

He continued, "I gave a credit card to my parents but they wouldn't use it. I get text messages when it gets used and one time a $7 meal was bought. My mom texted me saying, 'I ate what I wanted to eat for the first time with the money you gave me.'"

He said, "She used to always find food that's at least $1 cheaper to save money but for the first time she ate what she wanted to eat, not thinking about the price. I was thankful but I felt so sorry," tearing.
