After School's Raina To 'Reset' As A Solo Artist With Digital Single On October 8

After School member Raina is going to tackle the challenges of being a solo artist.

Raina, who is known for her sweet voice on singles such as "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness," "My Copycat," and "Catallena," will release a solo single album titled "Reset" to further showcase her singing abilities.

Raina is one of the main vocalists for her group After School, as well as the leader of the group's popular sub-unit Orange Caramel. After being internationally recognized for the weird and colorful concepts of Orange Caramel, Raina hopes to surprise and entertain audiences all by herself.

Although she has included a couple solo songs on After School and Orange Caramel albums in the past, Raina's new single, which will be released digitally online, will be her first official release as a solo artist.

Along with a teaser image released on September 29, Raina's agency, Pledis Entertainment, released a statement about the singer's newest project.

"The album Reset is focused on revealing a new side of Raina, solely her voice, as she turns away from the powerful and refreshing images shown through After School and Orange Caramel," said Pledis. "Different from the sweet honey showcased in A Midsummer Night's Sweetness, you'll be able to experience the dewiness of autumn emotions."

"Reset" is scheduled for release on October 8.
