The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin's album of diva classics has been given a release date and the record will reportedly feature songs from other female singers including Adele and Sinead O'Connor.

According to a report from The Associated Press, Aretha Franklin's album called "Great Diva Classics" will be out in stores on October 21.

The "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" hitmaker will reportedly give her own version of the songs "People" by Barbara Streisand, "I'm Every Woman," which was originally performed by Whitney Houston, and "Midnight Train To Georgia" by Gladys Knight.

The record will also reportedly include the songstress' version of Adele's "Rolling In the Deep," which will be released as its first single.

The album reunited the singer with longtime collaborator Clive Davis.

In an interview, Davis shared his thoughts about doing the new project with Franklin, saying: "I mean, it is great for her to do all these songs; it's very exciting."

Davis also reportedly spoke about his excitement about Franklin's comeback in an interview with Billboard magazine. "She's on fire and vocally in absolutely peak form," he said. "What a thrill to see this peerless artist still showing the way, still sending shivers up your spine, still demonstrating that all contemporary music needs right now is the voice. What a voice."

Aretha Franklin's album will reportedly have Etta James' "At Last" as its opening track.

The record will also include songs like Alicia Keys' "No One," the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On," Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," Dina Washington's "Teach Me Tonight, and Destiny's Child "Survivor."

And the record will reportedly close with Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U."

Producers of Aretha Franklin's album, which has ten tracks, include Kenneth "Babyface" Edmons and Andre 3000. It will reportedly be available for digital download on September 30, the same day of singer's performance of "Rolling In The Deep" on The Late Show with David Letterman.
