Boy group Big Star marked their 100th concert since debuting with their performance at the "Big Star 100 End & And Concert" in Tokyo, Japan over the weekend, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

Big Star celebrates the milestone of becoming the first idol group to hold 100 concerts in Japan as they follow in the footsteps of legendary K-Pop band, g.o.d, who held the same number of concerts in Korea during their tour.

"We were able to come this far because of the support of our Japanese fans. We're going to work just as hard when we return to Korea, so please watch as we progress. We'll try our best to return to Japan to perform soon," stated Big Star leader FeelDog after the concert was over.

Big Star celebrated their 50th live performance at the Yakult Hall.

The five-member boy band launched their first solo concert in March, performing four concerts every week throughout the summer. During their last concert, Big Star performed their hits, including "Hot Boy," "Run & Run," "The Feeling Is Here" and more.

Big Star is relatively new to the K-pop scene, debuting in 2012 under Brave Entertainment. The idol group consists of members FeelDog, Baram, Raehwan, Sunghak and Jude.

The group debuted with their EP titled "Blossom" and followed up with their hit mini-album "Hang Out."

"Hang Out" was produced by Brave Entertainment's founder Brave Brothers and incorporated "more visuals and music from the members," stated Big Star's rep, according to Allkpop.

Although it's only been two years since Big Star has debuted, the band has created a solid fan base both in Korea and Japan. Their most popular hit "Run & Run" has garnered over a million views on YouTube.

"This has to be the best song I have heard. No matter how bad a mood I am in it always makes me smile. They are just to damn hot not smile at!!!," wrote YouTube user Mackenzie Hetfield.
