Expectations are high for boy band FTISLAND's upcoming Japanese album "All About."

The K-pop group is ranked at No. 1 a week before the album's actual release date as it tops the Pre-booked Sales Chart, which is a part of Japan's Tower Record World Chart, and the HMV Korea Asia Chart's Weekly Sales Chart, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

The digital version of the album will drop on October 2 while the actual release is set for October 6.

The 10-track album will include previous hits that FTISLAND released in Japan, including "Be Free," "Freedom" and "Beloved." The idol group's fourth Japanese album will also include tracks that were written and composed by the members of FTISLAND, including "On My Way," "Orange Sky," "Last Love Song" and "Morning Coffee."

As the band members continue to experiment with writing and composing their own music, they've strived to stray from their "pretty boy" image.

"Actually, from the beginning, we didn't really like the 'idol band' image people had of us. Being recognized as an 'idol band' was akin to having barriers placed in front of us, to stop us from improving," explained guitarist Song Seung Hyun during an e-mail interview, according to the media outlet Asia One.

"All About" was derived from the band members' hopes that the songs on the album would be "my everything, your everything and our everything," according to the website Yahoo Celebrity Philippines.

FTISLAND will be releasing their 14th EP, "To The Light," in Japan in mid-October and will be going on their "FTISLAND Autumn Tour 2014 - To The Light" from October 16 to November 24. The five-member group will be releasing four different version of "To The Light," including one that will be released just for the members of FTISLAND's official fan club "Primadonna," according to The Korea Herald.

Despite FTISLAND's ongoing success across Asia, the group revealed that they're still surprised by the ongoing love from fans.

"We are quite shocked as to how these young fans know our songs so well . . . The coolest thing is that our fans from Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan choose to sing the original lyrics, even though we have Japanese version of most of our songs," stated Lee Hong Ki.
