Juniel, A Singer-Songwriter Greedy For Writing Songs "Band & Collaborations"

Cute looks, sweet voice, and a chill personality; Juniel has always had a cute image as a singer-songwriter, but she is actually a mature musician.

Juniel released her new song "I Think I'm In Love" on September 29. The song matched her lovely image once again. Juniel said, "It's a song that expresses the nervousness and happiness that you feel when you are dating."

But there are other songs that Juniel wants to talk about. Two of her own songs were included in her new album, "Bug Off" and "Please". Juniel said, "'Bug Off' is a message to those guys who keep their options open. "Please" is about a good break-up. I wanted to talk about a break-up that doesn't end up with fighting and pain, but a good one. It's not from my own personal experience but it's my friend's and I thought it would make a good song. I researched a lot online. There are many ways to break up on good terms."

It's been a year and 5 months since her last comeback. She has been connecting with her fans consistently through radio but it's been long since she released a new song.

Juniel said, "In that time, I wrote a lot of songs and practiced on a daily basis. I met a lot of my friends and spent a lot of time with my parents too. I even hiked and went to go watch movies in my free time."

She continued, "There are so many things I want to do. I want to try brighter music with an electric guitar. I'm preparing to make a band too. I suggested a few people to start a band with me but nothing is settled yet. But if I do make a band I think it'll have a stronger rock sound."

She said, "I also want to do collaborations. I really like hip hop also. People are surprised, saying it doesn't match my image. But wouldn't it be fun for me to sing the melody so that hip hop and acoustic meet?"
