PS Plus Free Games For October 2014 To Be Revealed Tomorrow; 168 Hours Of BattleField 4 Also Free For PS3 Owners!

PS Plus free games for October 2014 is expected to be announced tomorrow, October 1.

According to the PS Europe community manager, Fred Dutton, the upcoming set of PS Plus free games will go live on October 8.

Asked about the possible release of PS Plus free games, Dutton posted in the comment section of the PS Blog, "At present it looks like the next batch of Plus games will go live on October 8th, so look out for the announcement on or around October 1st."

PS Plus members will also be getting a free edition of the upcoming racing video game, DriveClub, on top of the free games for the month.

Dutton shared, "Driveclub will be in addition to your regular PS Plus allocation. There's loads of content included. Do try it out - I think you'll have a great time with it, and at no additional cost to your wallet."

DriveClub for PS4 will be officially released on October 7, according to a report on Trusted Reviews.

Furthermore, members only have few hours left to get the PS Plus free games for September which are Velocity 2X and Sportsfriend for PS4, and PS3 titles "PS All Stars Battle Royale" and "Hoard." For the PS Vita owners, TxK and Joe's Danger are currently available for free.

Another free game coming to PS Plus members is Battlefield 4 for PS3. The game will be free to try, according to the Blog.US.PlayStation.com. The September 30 post reads:

"Later today after the Store publish, PlayStation Plus members can download Battlefield 4 for free on PS3. There's never been a better time for new recruits to jump in and join the all-out war. You'll get 168 hours with the entire experience, including 64 player all-out war in multiplayer, and the intense single-player campaign."
