September 2014 may go down as one of the most tumultuous months in K-Pop history. 

We began September with the passing of two beautiful 'Ladies,' and ended the month with the discovery that one 'Girl' would be departing from her group.

The Ladies' Code's car accident rocked the Korean entertainment industry, and resulted in the deaths of members EunB and RiSe. A third member, Sojung, was also severely injured, while Ashley and Zuny maintained only minor injuries. The entire world mourned the loss of young life.

The month ended with the news that Jessica Jung would be leaving Girls' Generation. The situation is still ongoing, but SM Entertainment has confirmed that Girls' Generation will go on with only eight members. There was a report from Korean media outlet Sports Dong-Ah that claimed Jessica will be getting married in the near future, but her rumored boyfriend has rejected those claims.  

Big Bang's youngest member, Seungri, was involved in a car accident that landed him in the ICU. YG Entertainment originally said that he had only sustained minimal injuries, and fans were outraged when it turned out that he was in serious condition. He originally left the hospital, but had to return due to the intensity of his injuries.

Lee Hoo, the leader of boy band ZE:A, gained attention when he started lashing out at his company's CEO and the entertainment industry on Twitter, threatening to reveal incriminating information. The situation resolved itself after Lee Hoo and Star Empire's CEO, Shin Juhak, met to reevaluate ZE:A's contract.

Super Junior's Sungmin was revealed to be dating the musical actress Kim Sa Eun.

GLAM's Dahee is under investigation for attempting to blackmail actor Lee Byung Hyun. The scandal drew attention to Lee Byung Hyun's recent marriage and past dating scandals. 

Kim Hyun Joong apologized to his ex-girlfriend, whom he allegedly used violence on. Even though she dropped her charges, there is still an ongoing investigation into the star's actions.
