Pregnant Kelly Rowland Aims Headlining New Spike Lee Film? Baby Bump Not Getting In The Way Of Singer’s Training

Pregnant Kelly Rowland reportedly wants to join a Spike Lee film about Donna Summer, as the baby bump is not getting in the way of her singer's training.

According to PageSix, a very pregnant Kelly Rowland is actively lobbying to play Donna Summer.

"Spike Lee is reportedly directing 'Spinning Gold,' a biopic of Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, who helped launch KISS, Joan Jett, the Village People and disco diva Summer," it said.

Justin Timberlake will reportedly play Neil Bogart.

Just to make sure that Spike Lee gets the message, the pregnant Kelly Rowland posted a photo on Instagram showing her in the car "wearing a long, curly wig reminiscent of Summer's signature look."

Kelly Rowland's baby bump was hidden in the social media post, which also included the hashtags: #tbt #DonnaSummer-ish #LovetoLoveYa.

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland's baby bump was quite visible as she headed towards her car following an exercise session in Los Angeles last Wednesday.

Photos from MailOnline showed Kelly Rowland's baby bump underneath a shirt as she met with friends.

"The pregnant singer beamed as she chatted to her pals, including actress and presenter Tracee Ellis Ross, after an exercise session in LA on Wednesday," the tabloid said.

A pregnant Kelly Rowland told reporters during the launch of her watch line that she will have two babies when the time comes.

"My husband and the baby - you have to take care of both," she said, while also revealing her craving for chocolate ice cream and peanut butter.

"I literally have a scoop, one scoop of chocolate ice cream and a teaspoon of peanut butter, and mix it all together,' Kelly told People, per MailOnline. "If I'm in the bed and I just really don't feel like getting up, then he has been really wonderful at getting up and getting it for me."
