Anna Faris And Chris Pratt Knew They Were ‘Meant To Be’ Because Of Dead Bugs; ‘House Bunny’ Actress Recalls Spontaneous Balinese Wedding With ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Star

Dead bugs should probably be thanked for sparking a romance between Anna Faris and Chris Pratt. The couple, whose initial meeting took place on the set of "Take Me Home Tonight," has a weird yet common fascination.

"When I first met Chris, he took me up to his apartment and showed me his dead bug collection. I started crying and said the really corny line, 'We are meant to be!' because I collected them too," gushed the 37-year-old actress to British magazine, Stylist.

Thanks to their hobby, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's home is designed in an eclectic manner: "We've now got some huge tarantulas opposite our bed, a giant walking leaf and a bat.".

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's wedding took place in 2009 and as opposed to some couples who would devote much time in planning, theirs was a spontaneous one.

"We were in Bali suffering from food poisoning - the really rough kind, you know, sharing the toilet. I was looking for chicken broth on the room service menu and saw the hotel also did weddings. While still feverish, Chris said, 'Let's do it.' So the staff found us some traditional Balinese clothes and a local priest. We had no idea what was going on but we came back married," said the "What's Your Number?" star.

They now have a two-year-old son named Jack.

Recently, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor also gave a witty twist to his Saturday Night Live hosting gig. Instead of a normal opening monologue, Pratt offered a musical number about his weight loss and even his baby-making moments with his wife.
