The Power Rangers are back with its remake set to be released in 2016. Since its announced release date which is on July 22, 2016, moviegoers cannot help but ask for more spoilers of the cast involved and the exact release date of the movie.

ScreenRant has announced that this new Power Rangers version will have an ample amount of budget and have the impact that flicks Divergent and the Hunger Games have as it will be produced by Lionsgate responsible for producing the earlier films. Saban, the original creator of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is also said to team up with Lionsgate to retain its original style.

Earlier reports on MTV recommended that Liam Hemsworth and Taylor Lautner, who have previous acting experiences on a superhero character, will be included in the list. Reports circulated since May that the two are "vying for two of the ranger spots, as originally posted in Breathecast.

MTV believed that Liam has what it takes to be a Red Ranger as he"got the good looks, and he's built like a rock". Meanwhile, other Lautner fans voted the Twilight star to be the Red Ranger.

Earlier reports on E! Online also been stated in the Latin Post said that Chloe Moretz is in the rangers group and has already signed a contract to play the Pink Ranger role.

E! confirmed such reports to the Carrie star herself but she just said, "The funny thing about all these reports is I literally haven't even gotten one call about it. I keep hearing these reports that I'm apparently starring in a movie with Liam Hemsworth...which is cool, but I don't know the answer."

Meanwhile, Roberto Orci, executive producer of the Power Rangers remake and also the producer of Star Trek 3 assured audiences that the film will not suffer from low budget and poor adaptation. He will be working with other producers Brian Casentini, Allison Shearmur and creator Haim Saban.
