Singer Baek Ji Young signed a new contract with CJ E&M.

Her latest agency was Music Works, which she has been with since 2006.

Through her agency, Baek Ji Young stated, "I feel like I've returned to being a rookie singer. I want to return to a new singer-mode and make more thoughtful music. I also hope to support the new singers if there is anything I can teach. I will also try new genres to expand my outreach."

The CEO of CJ E&M said, "CJ E&M is concentrating on making sure an artist is able to concentrate on their music. Baek Ji Young has strong abilities for producing and singing and will be able to strengthen the CJ E&M sub label."
