With now ex-member Hwayoung's dismissal from the group on July 30, the bullying rumors and problems with the group rumors have spun out of control, resulting in putting a stop to T-ARA's activities. Music programs and their first solo concert have been canceled. However, the members TV show programs and dramas are still going on according to schedule.
The first shows to be released after this crisis was their pre-recorded show programs. The public was shocked at the fact that they would still release those shows with T-ARA on them. The community board for these shows had comments such as, "I don't understand why these girls are still coming out on tv after making such a big issue with their bullying incidents" and "If this was a pre-recorded show, they had enough time to edit out their parts. I don't get the producer's thinking behind this."
Members Soyeon, Eunjung and Hyomin's dramas have also been released as well. Soyeon's drama, "Haeundae Lovers" received over 4,000 comments on the dramas community board demanding that they take Soyeon out of the drama.
Eunjung and Hyomin's dramas are both also receiving much hate from the public. Fans have started their protest by not watching any of the dramas that the members appear in. There have also been over 10,000 posts on community boards asking for the directors to take the members out.
An official stated, "The casting has been done for these dramas. It is not easy to change a character so suddenly. All we can do is wait for the hate to calm down online. It's hard on our side too."
