DBSG: most searched celebrity in 2011

On Japan’s portal site, MSN Japan, DBSG won the ‘Most Searched 2011’ out of 50 male celebrities this year.

DBSG also ranked second place for ‘2011 Most Searched’ from January to October in Yahoo Japan portal site. First place was Japans famous group ‘Arashi’ and second was k-pop celebrity DBSG.

This January, DBSG released their Japanese single ‘Why? (Keep Your Head Down)’ and placed first on Oricon weekly and monthly chart. Also in September, they full album ‘Tone’ won Oricon weekly album chart as soon as it was released. This was the first time since 11 years a foreign singer ranked first and sold over 200,000 copies of their album.

On December 7, DBSG also performed at the Fuji TV Japan’s end of the year festival, ‘2011 FNS Music Festival’ and performed ‘Why? (Keep Your Head Down)’. This upcoming December 30, DBSG will also be at the ‘53rd annual Japanese Record Awards’. DBSG is currently a candidate for ‘Best Work award’. They will also be at Japan’s end of the year festival ‘Hong Baek-ga Habjun’ on December 31. They have been at that ceremony previously in 2008 and 2009.

DBSG will have a ‘fan party’ in Singapore, Shanghai, China on December 9 and Taiwan on December 11.
