"Mad Men" star Bryan Batt has just tied the knot! Batt, who is known for his role as closeted gay adman Salvatore Romano, married his longtime partner Tom Cianfichi on September 28 in New Orleans.  

In an interview with US Magazine, Batt stated, "After 25 years together we tied the knot... First legally in New York City, and then in a ceremony and reception under the canopy of oaks in a beautiful Garden District courtyard in New Orleans," explaining the marriage process the two decided upon.

Cianfichi is an event planner, so it was only natural that their wedding was beautifully decorated and detailed. Paper lanterns in shades of green and gold illuminated the family-filled wedding party, and later Batt and Cianfichi exchanged vows while a jazz quartet serenaded them with Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World."

Among those in attendance were Batt's "Mad Men" co-stars Christina Hendricks and Patricia Clarkson. Christian LeBlanc and Harriet Harris also came to witness the beautiful and moving ceremony.

US Magazine reports that the wedding almost faced a downpour. Batt commented, "It was raining all day, and although there was a tent, it could have been messy... At 4 p.m. Weather.com reported 100 percent chance of rain between 6 and 10, [so] we looked to the heavens and asked our late moms to do whatever they could, [and] at 5:30 p.m. I checked the report again, and [there was] zero percent chance of rain - it was beautiful!"

Luckily, the ceremony turned out beautifully. Batt gushed, "I've had some good ones, but this was the best night of my life!"

According to WWLTV, Batt's character lost his job in Season 3 of "Mad Men" after rejecting the sexual advances of Lucky Strike cigarette executive Lee Garner, Jr. (played by Darren Pettie). As of now, it is unknown whether Batt will return for the show's final episodes in 2015, but anything is possible!
