YG Entertainment has been hitting home runs this year as Big Bang and 2NE1 have been both successful. Not only that, G-Dragon will be coming out with his solo soon as well as Epik High.

Big Bang and 2NE1 were created by Yang Hyun Suk from start to finish. However, Tablo and Psy were artists who had reached the top before. How is it that these top stars decided to join YG?

Yang Hyun Suk stated in an interview with OSEN, "Psy and Tablo were able to join YG because of the support of their wives."

Psy, who had been long time friends with Yang Hyun Suk, had been running his own agency and performing as a singer too. However, his agency began to struggle financially. Psy's wife then encouraged him to join YG.

Agreeing to his wife's suggestion, Psy met up with Yang Hyun Suk. Psy commented, "Joining YG and having a stable job seemed better than trying to run my own business. Going under YG would help me achieve my area of being a great singer." His hit song, "Gangnam Style" was created after the suggestion from Yang Hyun Suk to "go back to your roots."

In the case of Tablo, his wife Kang Hye Jung was an actress under YG Entertainment. She had asked Tablo to join YG. At the time, Tablo had been hurt by anti-fans and groups and was not able to perform his music.

Listening to his wife, he joined YG and was able to work on his solo album.

Yang Hyun Suk commented, "Psy and Tablo are really talented musicians. I am so happy to be able to work with both of them. I also want to thank the wives of these musicians for believing in YG."
