SM Entertainment-JYJ, Adjustment Fail Again? '3 Years and Still the Same'

SM Entertainment and JYJ's contract dispute could not come to a consensus and is pushed back again.

Today, both parties met at the Seoul Central District Court. The court was originally supposed to come to a decision on the 19th of last month, but because SM filed for a time adjustment, they met again today. However, both sides was not able to come to terms again today. They will wait for the final verdict from the court.

Park Gyo Sun, who is the lawyer in behalf of JYJ, commented, "The judge did suggest a consensus from the two parties, however that did not work out. We just have to wait and see what the judges say in September."

JYJ's lawyer continued, "SM wanted to close up the past and settle the situation, however we think that it is only right to discuss and negotiate the past events in order to come up with a consensus. I can't talk about the details, but all I can say that it is hard trying to come up with a decision that will please both sides."

On the other hand, a SM director commented, "I do not have anything to say about this matter."

Due to problems with their contract, 3 members of TVXQ left the group and became JYJ. TVXQ was left with 2 members.

This case has been taken to court 7 times but still has not come to a consensus to end the dispute.
