An outpouring of affection for EXO member Luhan washed over Twitter following confirmation that he has filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract and leave the popular idol group.

Fans have been posting heart-warming messages for Luhan with the #alwayssupportluhan and #alwayswithyouluhan Twitter hashtags.

"I will always love & miss you," says lia (@luhansgf).

"We will always love & support you," adds I LOVE KPOP (@ILYminho_357).

Some encouraged Luhan for making a stand that will bring him happiness and comfort. They also promised to keep supporting the lead vocalist and lead dancer for the Chinese subgroup EXO-M in his future endeavors.

 "Walk to wherever your feet brings you to and if it's home you reach, then home it shall be #alwaysupportluhan," says han @luhanfied.

"We will respect your decision, we still love you and support you no matter what," says Luhan's Princess @ashiiee_ley.

"Your smile, your laugh, I'm so excited to see you do those again," says britt (@sugapeas).

Still some could not help but express sadness that EXO will lose another member, dwindling down to 10 active members.

Luhan's exit follows that of EXO-M subgroup leader Kris, now known professionally as Wu Yi Fan, who similarly filed a lawsuit with the same law firm, Hankyul, in May to nullify his contract.

"Double heartbreak. It's just too much to handle. The pain is so unbearable. It effin hurts :'(," says Patreng (@boice_patricia).

Fans praying for a reconciliation between Luhan and SM Entertainment are fast losing hope what with SM Entertainment's strong words that they plan to take action aggressively and multilaterally in response to the lawsuit. Overnight, the EXO Wiki has been updated already to mark Luhan as an inactive member together with Kris. With two of its members gone, SM Entertainment has said that EXO will continue promoting as 10 members with EXO-M dropping down to a quartet.
