Korean hip-hop group Epik High will officially be returning to the K-pop scene. 

The trio has already garnered the support of fans after announcing they would be making a comeback with their new album "Shoebox."

"YESSS! Finally! Btw, hope Haru will appear in one of their music videos," commented Varnzzz on the website Allkpop. 

Social media user 2ne1no1 added, "Hu ray!!! Love EPIK HIGH. Wanna hear their new songs immediately."

Epik High's management agency, YG Entertainment, added a new teaser poster of the three members to promote their upcoming album, according to the media outlet Yahoo Celebrity Philippines. "Shoebox," which is Epik High's eighth studio album, will be released online on October 21 and offline the next day. 

Epik High's leader, Tablo, had been continuously updating fans about the new album via Twitter. 

"Dear fans! Sorry for having you wait 2 years for new material. We just wrapped up recording sessions for Epik High's new album. Miss ya'll," wrote Tablo in mid-September. 

The message reportedly got over 3,000 retweets and likes. 

Along with the announcement regarding their upcoming album, Epik High has scheduled a solo concert titled "Parade 2014." Although K-pop fans were able to see Epik High perform at the "YG Family Concert" as well as other events, this will be the first solo concert they''ll be able to attend in five years, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment. 

"Parade 2014" will be held at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall in Seoul on November 15 and 16, according to the media outlet bnt News. 

Despite Epik High's success and solid fan base, the group didn't start out like most traditional K-pop groups. 

"We're not the model K-pop musician. We didn't have a company, we didn't have a manager. We just got together to make music, the way we did it is very different and rare," Tablo told Fuse News host Liz Walaszczyk during an interview earlier this year.
