Psy Expresses His Shock Regarding His Popularity Worldwide

Singer Psy appeared on state during his summer brand concert and stated, "My popularity these days, I don't know what happened."

Today (August 11), Psy held his "Psy's Summer Stand: The Wetter Show" at the Olympic Gymnasium in Seoul. Approximately 30,000 fans gathered to watch Psy perform on stage.

After heating up the audience with "Right Now" and "Stay Up Tonight", Psy introduced himself by stating, "I've been a singer for 12 years. Just 6 out of 12 of those years, I was singer Psy."

Psy continued by stating, "As you saw in the introduction video, my popularity these days, I don't know what happened. Today, a lot of foreign media news sources showed up at my concert in addition to the Korean ones" and expressed his happiness.

The introduction video showed the incredible amount of popularity and media coverage Psy has been receiving for "Gangnam Style." The video featured a scene from CNN where Psy's music video is being introduced all over America as well as foreigners who created video covers for "Gangnam Style."

Meanwhile, the music video for "Gangnam Style" has received over 24 million views. Psy also made headlines when representatives of Justin Bieber requested to meet with Psy.
