Sources close to Super Junior's Sungmin have revealed that the idol is planning a wedding.

On October 14, SBS funE reported that Super Junior's member Lee Sungmin will be the first member to get married. The singer is said to be planning to marry actress Kim Saeun on December 13. The two recently went public with their relationship.

There are reports spreading that someone close to Sungmin has said that the two celebrities have reserved a wedding hall in Gangnam for the December date, and plan to hold a private ceremony. 

However, according to a report by Korean media outlet the Joong Ang Daily, Kim Saeun's entertainment company, Golden 8 Entertainment, has denied the reports of a wedding. "Sungmin and Kim Saeun are dating well. She is currently continuing her schedules, and reports of a marriage are not true." 

Super Junior's agency, SM Entertainment, has not issued any response to the claims. 

Despite the denial and lack of comment from SM Entertainment, some sources have misreported the situation and said that the marriage plans are confirmed.

The relationship became public last September. The two met on the set of the musical, The Three Musketeers, and later revealed their relationship to their fans. 

Sungmin is the second Super Junior member to openly date. Fellow member Shindong has spoken in the past about plans to marry his girlfriend, but has not mentioned his plans in recent interviews. Sungmin and Shindong are the only two Super Junior members to have confirmed relationships. 

SM Entertainment has suffered recently, with stock prices plumetting following multiple scandals including members departing from high-profile groups like Girls' Generation and EXO. 

UPDATE: Despite the initial statement from Golden 8 Entertainment, Lee Sungmin has since confirmed the wedding rumors via a letter to fans posted on Super Junior's website.  SM Entertainment has also confirmed that Sungmin is, indeed, planning to marry Kim Saeun in December, but will remain as a member of the group for future projects and promotions.
