Display and Design

The Sony Xperia SP has a dimension of 5.14 x 2.64 x 0.39 inches and it has a weight of 155 grams. It comes with a 4.6 inches physical size, a bigger resolution and pixel density, which is 720 x 1280 pixels and 319 ppi.

The Xperia C has a bigger display of 5.0 inches, a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and a pixel density of 220 ppi. It has a dimension of 5.57 x 2.92 x 0.35 inches and weighing 153 grams.

Hardware

The dual core 1.7GHz Krait powers the Sony Xperia SP, while the quad core ARM Cortex-A7 with a clock speed of 1.2GHz powers the Xperia C. Both smartphones have the same system memory of 1024 MB RAM.

However, the said smartphones have different built-in storage. The Sony Xperia SP has an 8 GB while the Sony Xperia C has 4 GB only.

Camera

Both smartphones offer 8 mega pixels rear facing camera, with LED flash and features autofocus, touch focus, face detection, smile detection, digital zoom, Geo tagging, high dynamic range mode (HDR), panorama, and self-timer.

However, the Xperia SP has more camera features than the Xperia C, it has back-illuminated sensor, burst mode, white balance preset which is not available on Xperia C.
