It's hard to imagine that handsome leading man Lee Dong Wook once had to face embarrassment from an ugly nickname in the past.

On a recent episode of SBS variety show "Roommate," shared his old nickname with his housemates when they all decided to have a picnic just to bond and get to know each other since the show has included new members for season 2.

Lee Dong Wook and his looks were a target for some of the other cast members who poked fun at the actor. “It’s been a while that I was criticized for being ugly,” he shared in response to their taunting. 

He told his castmates that he was heavier in his younger years and was often ridculed for being ugly. “My nickname during my military service was ‘white pig.’”
