After confirming rumors that he is planning to wed actress Kim Saeun in December, Super Junior member Lee Sungmin was the number one trending topic on Facebook.

On October 14, after Korean media began publishing reports that Super Junior member Lee Sungmin made arrangements with his girlfriend actress Kim Saeun at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul, the pop star confirmed his upcoming nuptials via the group's official website.

"Everyone, I met a good person, and on December 13, we will get married," Sungmin wrote in his heartfelt message to fans.

The pair revealed their relationship back in September after meeting on the set of the musical The Three Musketeers.

Sungmin's agency, SM Entertainment, acknowledged the couple's upcoming wedding with a congratulatory tweet. "Sungmin, congratulations on your wedding! Be happy and have a blessed future. We love you," the company wrote.

Since the confirmaton of the marriage news, fans have taken to social media to show their support for the couple.  Sungmin became the number one trending topic on Facebook following the confirmed reports that he and Kim Saeun will marry later this year.

"He wrote a letter for ELF too. Congratulations to our Sungminnie. Let's wish him happiness and peace," wrote Sukira of Kiss the Radio, 89.1 KBS Cool FM on Facebook. Her sentiments were shared by many other Super Junior fans (ELF) who took to the social media platform to extend their well-wishes for the couple and applaud the star for being so open and honest with his fans.

According to a statement from SM Entertainment, Sungmin plans to continue his work with Super Junior following his wedding vows.  Kim Saeun's company has also reportedly said that the actress has no plans to stop her activities once she is married.
