On the acting front, Lee Jong Hyun wrapped up filming his role ‘Colin Black’ on the widely successful weekend drama "A Gentleman’s Dignity" while fellow member Kang Min hyuk’s drama "Unexpected You" is still airing. Youngest of CNBLUE, member Lee Jung Shin will begin his acting debut working on a new KBS weekend drama set to start airing on his birthday, September 15th titled, "My Daughter Seo Young" where he will play a main character. No other details are yet available about Lee Jung Shin’s role however; the plot will revolve around a distant father and his daughter. “Lee Jung Shin has been receiving calls from many dramas,” said FNC Entertainment. “He has spent a lot of time studying acting. He also wants to act very much and has a strong attitude [towards acting]. Please look forward to it.”

In CNBLUE music news, with the recent release of their newest mini album, Come On CNBLUE's 3rd major Japanese single, has been ranked 5th on the Oricon Single Weekly chart with over 33,911 copies sold in the first week according to Oricon ratings site. While Lee Jong Hyun’s contribution to the "A Gentleman’s Diginity" OST, the track "My Love" has received “All Kill” status and also making it one of the most searched songs on Daum real-time search results.

Leader Jung Yong Hwa has also been making headlines due to his musical involvement with FNC’s newest artists, Ace of Angels. Jung Yong Hwa wrote and composed a single off the group’s debut album, Love is only you.  “I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to give one of my songs to my agency’s first girl group, AOA,” Jung Yong Hwa stated. FNC also announced, “Yong Hwa gave Juniel the song ‘Fool‘, which was included in her debut album ‘My First June‘, and this time he will giving his self-composed song ‘Love is Only You‘ to rookie group AOA for their album ‘Angels’ Story‘.”

According to FNC, the musical boy wonder has been consistently working on producing new songs in between his busy schedule and is currently working on producing new songs for CNBLUE’s next Korean album due out in November. Their 3rd mini album, Ear Fun, released in March included five of Jung Yong Hwa’s self-penned songs. In addition, CNBLUE’s upcoming first Japanese full-length album Code Name Blue also showcases nine of Jung Yong Hwa’s self or co-created tracks. Not to be left out of the musical creation process, Lee Jong Hyun also contributed his writing genius to the album by composing several of the tracks himself making their self-titled album a real work of CNBLUE. Code Name Blue will be available in stores on August 29th.
