Former Girls' Generation Member Jessica Launches Design Competition In Collaboration With The 'Help For Children' Charity

Jessica Jung and her fashion brand BLANC are kicking off a charity design competition to help prevent child abuse. 

Jessica's fashion brand is going to work with the charity 'Help For Children'  to raise money to aid needy children around the world.

The first collaborative fundraising project for the fashion company and charity is a design competition, and they are calling on participants from across the globe to participate.

The design competition ask participants to draw and submit ideas for new sunglasses. The winning designs will be manufactured and sold as part of the BLANC & ECLARE collection.  One hundred percent of the profits will go directly to Help For Children to help combat child abouse around the world.

Jessica expressed her excitement regarding this upcoming project in a statement released by BLANC.  "Launching 'BLANC & ECLARE' has been a dream come true and I am so proud and excited to be able to share that dream with 'Help For Children' who are very close to my heart," she said. "I admire the outstanding contribution this charity has made and feel privileged to partner with them to help improve more children's lives in more places all over the world with the support of 'BLANC & ECLARE' fans who will share the journey with us."

Tyler Kwon, Jessica's rumored beau and CEO and chairman of Coridel Group, said his company played a large part in bringing BLANC and the charity together. "We were honored to help bring together 'BLANC & ECLARE' and its new global charity partner 'Help For Children' because we all share the same vision; that is to make a difference to disadvantaged lives everywhere," he said in a statement regarding the design competition. "We look forward to supporting the long term collaboration as the 'BLANC & ECLARE' brand strives to put positive social change at the heart of its business endeavors."

Submissions for the contest will be accepted until November 20th. After reviewing the submissions, a list of finalists will be decided and the public will be able to vote on the winning design.
