Here is the comparison of HTC Desire 820 and Nokia Lumia 830 in terms of its display, design, camera, hardware, operating system and price, according to the report of the Fuse Joplin and Phone Arena.

Design and Display

The Lumia 830 features a glossy back with slightly rounded corners and the side is surrounded by a metal frame. It has a weight of 150 grams and has a dimension of 5.49x2.78x0.33inches. Lumia 830's ClearBlack IPS LCD display of 5 inches and a resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels.

On the other hand, the Desire 820 is having a flat, rectangular glossy plastic rear panel with rounded edges. The display of the Desire 820 is LCD of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 720x1280pixels with a pixel density of 267ppi. It has a dimension of 157.7x78.7x7.7mm and weighing 155grams.

Camera

The Lumia 830 offers a 10 mega pixel rear facing camera which uses a Carl Zeiss optics that gives an optical image stabilization, LED flash and autofocus.

However, if you are looking for a bigger mega pixel, the HTC Desire 820 offers 13 mega pixels rear shooter with autofocus, LED flash, HDR, HD video and image recording.  

Hardware and Operating System

The Desire 820 powered by an octa-core with a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 and quad core 1GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. It is supported by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset and has 2GB of RAM.

The Lumia 830 comes equipped with the Cortex-A7 processor, which gets along with Adreno 305 GPU being backed by a Qualcomm MSM228 Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1GB of RAM.

In terms of OS, the Desire 830 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 while the Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) runs the Desire 820. When it comes to the price, the HTC Desire 820 costs $407 while the Nokia Lumia 830 is $5 more expensive.
