SECRET's agency TS Entertainment decided to name their new group SONAMOO, catching much attention.

Girl groups usually use cute or lovely names and it is rare for a group to name themselves 'pine tree'.

TS Entertainment said, "We thought a long time for our name. Someone suggested 'Sonamoo' during our meeting and everyone agreed that it's something different from currenty girl groups. We wanted to make the name different as we want Sonamoo to be different from other groups. The meaning is that they will have constant good messages in good music."

Their debut period has not been decided yet but a few members have been revealed.
