Following Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult's breakup, the "Hunger Games" actress is reportedly worried to shoot scenes with her former beau. It can be remembered that the former couple met on the set of the "X-Men" movies.

Now that the 24-year-old actress is already dating Coldplay crooner Chris Martin, the thought of filming steamy scenes with Hoult for "X-Men: Apocalypse" is making Lawrence uncomfortable.

"Jen's been dodging Nick's calls, but she knows she has to talk to him before they start read-throughs. It's comes at a difficult time and she's worried she may get confused if she starts talking to Nick again," claimed one source to Heat magazine.

Apart from the anticipated action scenes, the upcoming "X-Men" film will likewise focus on Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult's character - Mystique and Beast.

"It's a huge ensemble franchise but the point of this latest film was to strip that back and focus on Jen and Nick's characters' relationship," said one source to The Sun.

For fans wondering whether Mystique and Beast's chemistry will be affected, the same source claims that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult will do their best to be professional: "Earlier this year that seemed like a great idea, but now they've split and it's too late to completely rewrite the script. They are very professional, of course, and will make it work."

Martin is similarly helping his girlfriend to relax said one source: "Jen's been travelling with Chris to gigs, but as her schedule stars to get busy, he's cleared his calendar to be on location with her. He won't be able to stay away from his kids for long, though, so he's going to be travelling a lot."

Martin has two children with his former wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
