2AM To Release First Album Under JYP Entertainment In Late October

K-Pop ballad group 2AM has announced plans to make a comeback later this month.

The four member group will drop a new album in late October, their first Korean release in nearly a year since last November's Nocturne.

The new album will also mark 2AM's first under JYP Entertainment, after releasing their previous albums with the subsidiary Big Hit Entertainment.  As such, JYP founder and lead producer Park Jin Young is said to have composed several of the group's upcoming tracks.

The title song for the new album is said to be an emotional ballad written for the group by Cho Kyumin.

2AM's comeback has been highly anticipated by their fans who have seen the four members do few group activities since promotions ended for last year's album.

Recent months have seen extensive individual projects from the singers as well as the release of a Japanese single in August.

Jo Kwon has found success on the stage, taking the lead role in the musical Priscilla, to much critical acclaim while both Seulong and Jinwoon focused on small screen acting in Hotel King and Not Dating, Marriage respectively.  Changmin, meanwhile, has focused his attention on music with his side project act Homme.

Members Seulong, Jo Kwon, and Jinwoon recently all officially switched their contracts over to JYP, while Changmin remains with Big Hit due to his involvement with Homme.
