A big week for K-Pop!  Here is a rundown of the topics that had fans talking this week.

Super Junior's Sungmin Announces Upcoming Marriage

After initial denials, Super Junior member Sungmin wrote a message to fans confirming that he would be getting married to his girlfriend, actress Kim Saeun. The two will be getting married in Seoul on December 13, and then will go on their honeymoon. Sungmin has no plans to halt his activities as a Super Junior member.

Super Junior also announced this week that it would be making a comeback with a repackaged album, "This Is Love," which will be released on October 23.

2NE1's CL Plans To Promote In The United States

YG Entertainment revealed that CL, the leader of the girl group 2NE1, will be making a foray into the US market under the guidance Scooter Braun, who has managed stars including Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. CL has promoted as a solo artist in South Korea, and the announcement came on the heels of speculation about CL's US debut following her collaboration with Skrillex.

YG Entertainment has clarified that CL's American promotions does not mean that 2NE1 is disbanding. The entertainment company also explained that CL was picked to head to the United States due to her vocal skills, appearance, and knowledge of multiple languages.

Over 10 Dead Due To Accident At 4Minute Performance

A ventilation grate collapsed during a 4Minute performance in the Pangyo Techno Valley in South Korea. The idol group was on stage when fans clambered onto the grates, and the structure collapsed. Initial reports said that twelve were dead following the collapse, but media is now reporting the amount of dead to be sixteen. An additional eleven people are reported to have been injured.  

One of the managers involved in organizing security at the event was found dead following a fall from a ten-story rooftop. A suicide note was also reportedly found on scene.
