With ‘Fury’ opening strongly this weekend, pushing ‘Gone Girl’ out of the number 1 spot in box office and having had a chance to fight with Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman may have bigger and better ideas in his mind.

The 22-year-old actor had the best fortune to be cast in David Ayer’s ‘Fury’. The fact that the Oscar contender is doing well in cinemas means that Logan Lerman will definitely get more recognition and fame.

According to the Los Angeles Times, ‘Fury’ pulled in “an estimated $23.5 million in the U.S. and Canada”, effectively “pushing “Gone Girl” out of the No. 1 spot.”

But filming ‘Fury’ wasn’t all fun and games for the graduate of ‘Percy Jackson’ series. Director David Ayers asked the cast to really physically fight each other to break ice and other barriers.

“One of the main things that we did every day that was a part of the director’s process was fought each other. We sparred together,” Logan Lerman said to MTV. “We just fought openly. That really broke barriers surprisingly. Once you’re able to hit somebody and start punching them in the face, you can go anywhere with them physically in a scene.”

“Brad’s a tough guy — you know — to punch,” he added. “He’s quick. He’s got those moves.”

Looks like fighting with the top dogs like Brad Pitt made his ego inflate just a little bit as well. Does this mean that he will ditch his ‘Percy Jackson’ past along with his rumored girlfriend Alexandra Daddario?
