Tori Spelling Currently Quarantined and Treated Like A Dangerous Patient; Suffers From Severe Bronchitis

It is, definitely, not ebola. Sources from TMZ confirmed that the reality star Tori Spelling is not sick with the deadly virus but is sick with bronchitis accompanied by fever and colds. However, the actress is treated like she is seriously-infected as she is quarantined in the Cedars Sinai Hospital on Saturday.

However, the Daily Mail has another version of the story. Doctors from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center have out ruled the possibility of ebola but suspected that the 41-year old actress is infected with Enterovirus D68.

"Tori was not only admitted to the hospital, she was put under quarantine and neither Dean nor the children are allowed anywhere near her for fear she may have contracted the contagious non-polio Enterovirus," a source told the tabloid.

Further, the source said that the Beverly Hills 90210 star has been coughing for weeks now while filming the season 2 of her life story True Tori but as she was busy with the show and had to attend to her daughter's birthday bash on Saturday.  It was her husband Dean Mcdermott who insisted that she has to undergo check-up.

"Tori has been feeling sick for at least a week,' adds the source. "She was coughing and complained of being short - winded. She had a fever, but when it skyrocketed past 101 this weekend, Dean insisted she go to the Emergency Room where doctors quickly admitted her," the source said.

To date, Tori is still admitted in the hospital and will be staying there for a week, the Hollywood Life said.  The actress' respiratory illness also made her to cancel an upcoming promotional appearance for the second season of her show.

"Doctors are currently running tests,' says the source. 'And they hope to have a diagnosis as soon as possible. But in the meantime, they have Tori quarantined and are not letting anyone see her, especially her four children, who would be highly susceptible to the virus."

Enterovirus is said to be currently affecting 46 states in the US, has affected at least 800 people and has caused the deaths of seven people. To date, there is vaccine that can specifically counterattack the disease and what doctors can do is to treat its symptoms.
