After the fun of "Mamacita," the boys of Super Junior take a turn for the melancholic. 

The boys of Super Junior express pain and longing in the latest music video teaser for their two upcoming tracks, “This is Love” and “Evanesce”

The music video teaser starts off with Super Junior leader Siwon picking up a red rose and smelling it. Then we see a glimpse of other members standing in the same abandoned classy bar, wearing classy suits but looking quite forlorn as a sadly romantic violin tune plays in the background.

In the closing scene of the teaser, we hear the group sing an English language line “Don’t know why!” while one of the member’s runs through a pathway strewn with dead autumn leaves. It all makes for a poignant peek at their new releases.

Both songs will be part of Super Junior's special edition seventh studio album release.

Fans have been asking whether the single trailer for both songs means there will only be one music video, but Soompi confirms that there will be two full videos to be released on October 25.

Super Junior seems to be taking a dramatic and sad concept for this latest round of promotions for their special edition songs. For fans, this shows the versatility of the veteran idol group when it comes to taking on vastly different concepts within a short amount of time. Just recently the group released their “Mamacita” MV which had an upbeat tempo and had slapstick comedy parts.

“OMG! This is a sad video, it’s a different concept of them, can’t wait for it!” says Charles Hyun.

Soompi adds that the special edition will drop on October 23 on various online music stores while offline sales begin October 27.

Fans can then watch the songs performed on various music shows beginning with a comeback performance on this week’s “M!Countdown”.
