Following her title song, "Only One," BoA brings back a new song to her fans.

"The Shadow" features a mid-tempo beat with a synth pop sound. Her unique spoken rap also gives the song a different quality from her usual songs.

The choregoraphy in the music video is up to par with BoA's amazing dancing skills. She shows off some fun finger-dancing in the beginning of the dance as well.

Her outfits in this video are both sexy and feminine with a short black mini dress and a glittering top with loose pants. She also wears an all white ruffled dress as well as a floral patterned long dress.
