Giudice will serve her time at Alderson Prison Camp correctional facility in West Virginia where Martha Stewart also served time in prison for insider trading! "Alderson is known as Camp Cupcake," an inside source tells Radar Online. "The minimum-security facility has yoga and cooking classes." Not too shabby for the RHONJ star that once revealed that she wouldn't live in a 'used house.' Teresa will report to the 'cupcake' prison on January 5th after she plead guilty to multiple counts of fraud. Martha was convicted in March 2004 on criminal charges of obstructing justice and lying to government investigators during an insider-trading probe into her late 2001 sale of her ImClone Systems stock. She served 5 months in the remote womens prison for the inside trading. Opened as the first federal prison for women in 1927, Alderson Prison camp sits on 95 acres and houses 1,055 female prisoners, according to the Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman.
Inmates double up in rooms equipped with bunk bed, locker, desk and chair. Can you imagine Teresa Giudice shacking up with another inmate, an orange bandana covering her tiny forehead! LOL. There are no barbed wire or fences enclosing the camp so the women have a ton of freedom. Alderson has housed relatives of famous mobsters and grandmotherly women who embezzled money from banks. The majority of inmates at Alderson, nicknamed Camp Cupcake, are doing time for drug-related offenses, according to the Bureau of Prisons. While Alderson is not undesirable, the prison camp's isolation can be hard on inmates. A woman like Teresa Giudice, with four children and a booming social life, might get bored and worse...woken up by the dead silence! Crickets for Teresa, not Malania! Teresa says all she cares about is her daughters, and any issues she faces in prison are inconsequential compared to the livelihood of her four children. WHen Andy Cohen asked Teresa if she's scared she might lose her temper in prison, Teresa said she wasn't scared at all. Nobody can deny Teresa loves her children and even the judge admitted that Teresa is a great mother. But the judge couldn't let her emotionas get in the way way of justice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star believes that she's been through so much that she can face ANYTHING behind bars.
