Wedding bells are just around the corner for Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald.

The "19 Kids and Counting" star and her fiancé, who got engaged in May, will reportedly tie the knot on November 1. And the Duggar family has been kind enough to share details of their recent wedding shower and a few updates on the nuptial plans as the big day closes in.

Duggar and Seewald held their wedding shower last weekend and they aptly deemed the event "Pinterest-perfect."

The shower took place at a wood panelled hall decorated with chocolate-colored tablecloths, fall flowers, and adorable details such as photos of the lovebirds on clotheslines and "Mr. & Mrs." Banner.

"I really don't have a vision of how to put a wedding together, it is just an endless amount of details and choices," said Jim Bob Duggar, Jessa's father in an interview with Starcasm.net, regarding his daughter's big day. "It is overwhelming. But we are excited for Ben and Jessa and how the Lord has worked in their lives."

As for the wedding, Jessa and Ben announced on their wedding website that the big day will feature navy blue, gray, and coral pink as their principle colors. In an updated move, guests will be served ice cream sundaes instead of a traditional wedding cake.

Aside from the wedding plans, the couple revealed what they have learned throughout their 13-month-long relationship.

"You really have to make sure that you are walking with God, so you can encourage and build up the other person and draw them closer to God," Ben told Starcasm.net. "You want to be encouraging them and lifting them up."

As for Jessa, the bride-to-be confesses that learning to communicate with Ben has helped her grow in her relationship.

"The biggest thing that I have learned from this relationship is learning to communicate well and learning how to talk to one another and work out differences, even in the small things," said Jessa.

So are Duggar and Seewald already thinking about children?

"We're both open to children and looking forward to starting a family of our own. We also really want to adopt," Jessa revealed in an interview with PEOPLE magazine.
