American Horror Story Season 4: Edward Mordrake Arrives; Plus, Jessica Lange's Lana Del Rey Cover [WATCH]

While the prelude to the Halloween episode of "American Horror Story" season 4 felt much like an introduction and lacked in the creepiness, we do get two treats: We finally meet Edward Mordrake and hear Elsa Mars' rendition of a Lana del Rey song.

We've been given a preview on Edward Mordrake's character before "American Horror Story" season 4 started but we didn't really know what kind of creepiness he'll bring into Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities. Mordrake's story was told by Ethel (the bearded woman played by Kathy Bates) in the last episode. We learned that he was part of a noble family and Britain but he had a rare condition where he had a face on the back of his head.

Mordrake's other head supposedly whispers to him, which makes him mad (not the angry kind of mad) and he was sent to an asylum. He escaped and became part of a freak show but he murdered everyone and ended up killing himself, as ordered by the face on the back of his head.

He rose from the dead just in time for Halloween, however, when he heard the Elsa Mars singing "Gods and Monsters."

Jessica Lange's (Elsa Mars) cover of the Lana del Rey song has been highly anticipated ever since Murphy hinted about it before the show premiered.

To say that Mordrake is right up "Freak Show"'s alley would be an understatement. We have previously been introduced to conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler played by Sarah Paulson. In the last episode we also saw how difficult it was to have two heads in one body when one of the Tattlers had a dream about cutting the other's head off with a saw.

There is still much to stay tuned for in "American Horror Story" season 4 and we might just need to brace ourselves for next week's episode.
