SNSD first time for Korean woman artist to have solo concert in Singapore with 20,000 fans

For the first time for a Korean woman artist, SNSD hosted the first solo concert in Singapore.

On the past December 9~10th, SNSD sold out 20,000 attendees with their concert "2011 GIRL'S GENERATION TOUR in SINGAPORE", which took place in an in door stadium where big stars such as Justin Bieber and Rihanna has performed. The tickets sold out in the first four hours, adding another concert to the originally planned one time concert as well as setting the record as the first Korean women artists to have a solo concert in Singapore.

SNSD who made their first appearance in a genie's lamp, opened up the concert with 'Genie' and continued the concert with 'Mr. Taxi', 'Kissing You', 'OH!', 'Gee', 'Into the New World' and other hit songs. They also gave individual performances of tap dance, cha cha, piano, and others, performing total of 32 songs and showing off their 9 different colors.

When 'The Boys', which was performed for the first time on his tour after place 1st place fore 6 weeks on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' came on, the audience shouted the chant that has become international "Right now it's Girls's Generation, It will be Girl's Generation in the future, Forever Girl's Generation", all in Korean, bringing the atmosphere of the concert to its climax.

In the press interview that took place on the 10th before the concert 'Bloombug' 'Straight Time' 'Lianhe Wanbao' 'U Weekly' 'Yahoo' and other press were present, raising the anticipation for SNSD's first Singapore concent.

Oh the other hand, SNSD who sucessfully ended the 2nd concert in Singapore will continue their tour on January 15th of 2012 in Hong Kong.
