Another movie that has been confirmed in the Marvel Event is "The Inhumans." They will become the next super hero group for the studio. They might also be their answer to the growing mutant universe over at Fox.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has grand visions for the Inhumans as he stated to Indie Wire:

"A new super hero team,'Inhumans,' hits on November 2, 2018. 'It will introduce dozens of characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe," Feige promised. "We really do believe the Inhumans can be a franchise or a series of franchise unto themselves. They have dozens of powers and an amazing social structure. With our 20th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we wanted to continue to refine what that universe is about." To clarify, the Inhumans are the royal family ruling over a race of super-humans living in a hidden city in the Himalayas (or occasionally the moon)."

They will be introduced in between the two parts of "Avengers Infinity War" but it is not known whether they will play a part in the Final battle against Thanos.

The scoop website Badass Digest gives a briefing for the uninitiated:

"The Inhumans are an ancient genetic offshoot of humanity; when they reach maturity they are doused in a chemical known as a the Terrigen Mists, which triggers latent abilities within them. Some are mutated into monsters. Some get incredible powers. Some become essentially crippled. They live together in the hidden city of Attilan, and are ruled by Black Bolt, whose power is that his voice is a weapon of mass destruction. His queen is Medusa, whose hair operates like super-strong limbs. Other characters - good and evil - operate within the royal court of Attilan. 

But not all Inhumans live apart from society! Thousands of years ago some Inhumans left Attilan to live among their cousins, the homo sapiens. Over time they integrated, their DNA winding its way through our population. The person next to you on the bus, should they be hit with Terrigen Mists, could be revealed as an Inhuman. You could be revealed as an Inhuman. "

Very similar to the presentation of mutants with Fox. On the casting front, Vin Diesel has been attached to the role of Black Bolt, the leader of the Inhumans. Is this the major role he teased a year ago?

The Inhumans release date is on November 3, 2018.
