John Carter Cash Arrested For Stripping In Airport! Son Of Country Legends Johnny Cash And June Carter Believed To Have Been Drunk Or Struggling With Medical Issues

Bizarre news out of Canada.

John Carter Cash, the son of country music icons Johnny Cash and June Carter, was reportedly arrested on Monday, Oct. 27, for stripping in a Deer Lake airport.

According to the National Post, police believed that Cash was either drunk or struggling with medical issues.

The publication reports that two RCMP officers (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) were called to the airport, which is located in western Newfoundland, around 2:10 p.m. after Cash removed all of his clothes except for his underwear.

Investigators reportedly explained that security personnel at the airport convinced 44-year-old Cash to put his clothes back on before the officers arrived and took him to the police station.

Cash allegedly remained in custody until sober.

It seems that Cash has been excused for the incident, however. The RCMP reportedly chose not to charge him due to the fact that few people witnessed the episode and Cash has no criminal record.

Cash is also believed to have been cooperative with officers throughout the ordeal.

Despite missing his original flight, Cash intends to catch a flight on Tuesday.

John is the only child of late music stars Johnny Cash and June Carter, although he has six-half siblings from his parents' former marriages.

Cash is a singer/songwriter himself, as wall as a music producer and author.

He spoke about his famous father earlier this year in an interview with Esquire.

"He was just Dad," said Cash. "But it's hard to deny who he was when you're brought out on stage, and you're standing beside this great man singing at the end of a show, and the crowd loves him."
