Assassins Creed Movie News: Rumors Of The Game Pushing Thru In Perils After Getting Reports Of Failed Pre Production; Is The Film Still A 'Go'?

It has been reported by Collider that the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" movie was pushed out by 20th Century Fox, as it moves very slowly leaving fans hoping that it would still happen after it is reported to be still not in production and pushed for a "TBD" release date.

After getting news that 'Iron Man' cast Robert Downey Jr would be up for a role in the upcoming game to movie adaptation, rumors go around the web that this news is not true after MoviePilot released and took down an article confirming theinvolvement of the Avengers Movie star.

Meanwhile, after denying the rumors of walking out of the script, "X Men: Days Of Future Past" star Michael Fassbender is still up for the lead role of the upcoming game to film adaptation.

According to Movie Web, Fassbender is set for the role of a character named Michael Lynch, a death row inmate subjected by scientist to go under The Animus to go back to the Spanish Inquisition under the character of Aguilar de Agarorobo "to locate sacred artifacts that are integral to a longstanding war between the Assassins and the Templars," as the website has said.

Fassbender revealed recently on an interview that the film adaptation would be different yet still respectful to the game, which is expected to surprise fans. He stated that they might have revealed too much information about the movie and will stop from there for now.

"There's so much cool stuff in the game that we're actually spoiled for choice in terms of what we can use and what we can't, but we also want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own version of things that already exist in the game," the actor told IGN in an interview. "But we're definitely making a feature film, and we're approaching it as a feature film, as opposed to approaching it as a video game."

Fassbender, however, said in an interview his excitement for the video game film adaptation and loves the idea and concept of the game.

"'Assassin's,' I'm so happy with," Fassbender says. "I can't say anything more, but for a video game, the concept behind it, this idea of DNA memory, it is so interesting."

The movie is slated to be out on August 2015 and is confirmed that '12 Years A Slave' movie cast Fassbender would star this movie. The movie is rumored to be directed by Justin Kurzel but no final announcements about this yet. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are rewriting the movie, who apparently did the script for 'Exodus: Gods & Kings'.

There are no final announcements for the plot or release date for the movie as of now. But you can keep on tuning in here at KPopstarz.com for the latest news on the Assassin's Creed movie plot.
