Singer and actor Rain took over the Wangsimni CGV movie Theatre with his surprise appearance at the production presentation of the movie "R2B: Return to Base" on Wednesday.

The movie team was preparing to say thanks to the audience that came to the presentation. Kim Sung Soo knowingly asked, "Isn't there a soldier here? Put your hand up," and the audience looked around the theater lost.

He added on saying, "I know already. Please put your hand up." Then, at the back of the theater, the main character of the movie Rain showed up with his hand up.

The quiet theater turned in to a loud cheer and the audience looked at Rain as if this wasn't happening. Rain replied with his big smile.

Rain said that he can't go to the front because he is a soldier, and would appreciate it if the audience can love the movie a lot.

The staff said that Rain was invited by Kim Sung Soo and none of the staff knew about it. The member said that Rain was out for the rest for four days from the army and came to the theater for his movie showing.

Rain will return to the army base after the event today.
