Welcome Back, K-Pop! October's 5 Biggest Comebacks

K-Pop fans usually don't have to wait very long before their favorite artists make comebacks, the genre is very prolific in that sense - but October 2014 offered up a lot of very high profile releases from some of Korea's biggest artists.

Here are five of the biggest and best returns K-Pop saw this past month (in no particular order):

Epik High

October 21 saw the release of one of the most exciting hip-hop albums to come out of Korea this year. With just about two years since their last album release, Epik High dropped Shoebox, their second full length album under YG Entertainment.

With "Born Hater" pre-released before the album officially hit the shelves, fans of the trio were undoubtedly pumped up by the long list of featured artists lending their talents to the album - a nod to Epik High's highly collaborative past.

Shoebox is Epik High's 8th studio album overall and featured three lead singles, "Born Hater," "Spoiler," and "Happen Ending."

BEAST

Six member boy band BEAST is one of CUBE Entertainment's hottest acts, and the release of their 7th EP Time definitely did not disappoint.

On October 20, the idol group dropped their second mini album this year with three tracks to get fans excited - "12:30," "Drive," and "So Hot."

Seo Taiji

Widely known as one of modern K-Pop's founding fathers, Seo Taiji came back with his long-awaited 5th solo album, Quiet Night. Released through his own agency, the Seo Taiji Company, Quiet Night marked the iconic singer's return after a five-year hiatus.

While the album itself wasn't released until October 20, two singles were revealed earlier in the month, "Sogyeokdong" and "Christmalo.win." As a special bonus, Seo Taiji teamed up with singer IU for her own special version of "Sogyeokdong" released a week before his on October 2.

2AM

Ballad group 2AM made a very special comeback for their 3rd studio album, Let's Talk. The newest release marks the members' (with the exception of Changmin) move to JYP Entertainment from the company's subsidiary Big Hit Entertainment.

The group is promoting two songs for the new album, "Days Like Today" and "Over the Destiny."

Lee Min Ho

For not being an actual singer, Lee Min Ho's 2nd studio album was one of the month's most popular. The famed actor released Song For You specifically for his fans and has been making appearances all across Asia for special intimate fan meetings and performances.

Song For You and the title track of the same name were released by Lee Min Ho's agency Starhaus Entertainment on October 9.
