Former EXO Member Luhan Shown In Trailer For Chinese Remake Of 'Miss Granny'

Former EXO member Luhan showed his acting skills in the first teaser video and images from the Chinese movie Back To 20.

On November 2, three pictures of Luhan (or Lu Han) were released online from the film. The trailer video was also revealed. Back To 20 is a Chinese remake of the popular Korean movie, Miss Granny, where an elderly woman strangely turns into a twenty-year-old. Luhan will be playing the main character's grandson.

This will be Luhan's first role in a movie.

Luhan's part in Back To 20, also known as Mid-Twenties, has come under some criticism due to the fact that Luhan gained the role when he was still a member of SM Entertainment's idol group, EXO. SM Entertainment, a Korean entertainment company, has not issued a statement about Luhan's role in promoting Back To 20.

The three teaser pictures reveal that Luhan will likely portray a musician, as he is seen carrying a guitar and wearing headphones.

In the teaser video, Luhan and his grandmother, in the form of a twenty-year-old, have a discussion that seems to be about the two of them dating.

The entertainer also attended the Back To 20 press conference, and discussed how he felt about acting for the first time.

Luhan began filming for Back To 20 several months before he left EXO.

Luhan was a member of EXO and its Chinese subgroup EXO-M, and under the management of SM Entertainment, until he withdrew from the company in October. Luhan became the second member of EXO and EXO-M to file a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, following in the footsteps of Canadian-Chinese member Kris (Wu Yifan.)

The lawsuit against SM Entertainment is currently in the Korean court system.

Back To 20 will be released on January 15, 2015, according to the movie trailer.
