Koo Jun Hoe Announced As Fourth Member Of Upcoming Group iKON
YG Entertainment has announced the fourth member of its upcoming boy group, iKON.
Koo Jun Hoe is the new member of iKON, YG Entertainment's next boy band. The trainee competed against other YG Entertainment trainees on the television show, MIX & MATCH. On November 3, YG Entertainment posted a picture on its official website.
Jun Hoe will join Bobby, B.I, and Jinhwan as a member of iKON. Koo Jun Hoe was a member of Team B on the show.
Three more members of the group, also to be picked from teams on MIX & MATCH, will be announced either before or during the final episode of the show, which will air on November 6.
Two trainees competing on MIX & MATCH will not make the final cut for iKON, but YG Entertainment's CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, has confirmed that the final episode of MIX & MATCH won't be the end of their career.
"But even if you don't become a member of iKON, I'm sure there will be a new beginning for you. Since you've gone through so many experiences and [so much] growth through several survivals, I am confident that you will become a great group in Asia and throughout the world. I will also help you out from the side."
Due to the interest in finding out who the fourth member of iKON was, YG-Life.com was having issues loading prior to and after YG Entertainment released the picture that confirmed Koo Jun Hoe as the next member of iKON.
Immediately before releasing the new information, YG Entertainment also posted a picture, wishing 'happy birthday' to Big Bang member, T.O.P.
