iKON's Bobby Revealed As Featured Artist For The Debut Of YG Entertainment's New Unit Group

It seems as though fans won't have to wait much longer for YG Entertainment to solve the mystery behind their new unit group.

Just yesterday, the South Korean record label unveiled teenage singer Lee Hi as the first member of the group and today they uncovered rookie rapper Bobby (of the soon-to-debut boy group iKON) as a featured artist for the new song set to drop on November 11.

After teasing fans for over a week about the new unit, one member remains a mystery.

The latest image, released via the company's YG Life blog, shows Bobby holding hands with Lee Hi and the remaining unit member still veiled by a red curtain. At the bottom of the image it reads, "Collaboration Project 001, New Unit Feat. Bobby." The teaser also contains the release date and time, November 11 at 12am KST.

Fans have been trying to guess who would be involved in the new unit for the better part of the week and speculation still surrounds the final member. The latest teaser image did clear up one thing, however. One of the previous teasers, before it was known to be a new unit, read "1+1÷1" and a follow-up image suggested the unit would be two females divided by a male. It seems now that the unit itself is comprised of Lee Hi and this other female, while Bobby is remains as a featured artist for the debut rather than a member of the duo.

Bobby recently won the hip-hop competition show Show Me The Money 3 and is one of four confirmed members of YG Entertainment's new boy group iKON, set to officially debut in January. He also appeared as one of the featured artists for the comeback of label mates Epik High in their song "Born Hater."

Lee Hi rose to fame as the runner up of the first season of K-Pop Star, a reality singing competition show in South Korea similar to American Idol. While she was originally expected to debut as a member of YG girl group the Supearls, the group disbanded before debuting and Lee Hi launched her solo career.
