Psy's Music Video For "Gangnam Style" Passes 60 Million Views, 'Best Record In The Shortest Amount Of Time'

Singer Psy's music video for "Gangnam Style" surpassed 60 million views. 

The music video for "Gangnam Style" passed 61,547,864 views on Sunday. After "Gangnam Style" was released last month on the 15th, it passed 10 million views in just 19 days. It took 8 more days for 20 million hits, 7 days for 30 million views, 6 days for 40 million views and 5 days for 50 million views, and the record keeps getting shorter.

After 43 days since the time of its release, it has surpassed 60 million views on Sunday, and the momentum is only increasing. It made the highest record of views in the shortest amount of time for Korea.

Psy's company, YG Entertainment stated, "The record surpassed 10 million views and it's taking less time for more views. We're expecting that it may even pass 100 million views by September."

The second song for "Gangnam Style," "Oppa Is Just My Style" is apporaching 20 million views.

Meanwhile, Psy returned to Korea's Incheon Airport, early in the morning on Saturday. Psy recently met with Justin Bieber's company but has not revealed his exact plans. They stated, "There will be fun things in the future," and raised expectations for his activities in the United States.

Psy is to return to the United States early in September.
