It seems everyone is talking about singer-songwriter IU and radio show host Hong Jinkyoung's picture compilation on KBS CoolFM's "2 o'clock with Hong Jinkyoung" (pictured above). 

When IU appeared as a guest on Hong's show last Wednesday, she was presented with the challenge to write the show's logo song with lyrics submitted by the show's listeners. IU happily obliged, flexing her songwriting muscles, as she quickly engendered a wide range of melodies.

That night, one listener submitted, "Hong hong hong hong hong Jinkyoung, Ms. Hong Hong Hong Hong Hong."  To this, IU stated, "I don't think this one needs any music," and began chanting the words to improvised clapping. With that, a potential jingle was created, and has since gathered great popularity. 

As Hong closed the show, IU promised to have a completed version of their jingle for next time. Fans and netizens alike were smitten by IU and her witty remarks, song-writing skills and heart-warming personality. Comments like "So funny! Pick her song!" and "IU and Hong bursting into laughter is so cute" flooded KBS CoolFM's site soon after the show.
