M! Countdown Previews YG New Unit Hi Suhyun Featuring iKON's Bobby [VIDEO]

As the next YG Entertainment act to have its debut, South Korean music program "M! Countdown" has confirmed new unit Hi Suhyun's comeback date with a video preview.

Hi Suhyun is a new unit combining solo artist Lee Hi and Lee Suhyun of Akdong Musician. It's been confirmed the duo will release the single "I'm Different" on November 11 and will perform on "M! Countdown" on November 13.

"These two are the epitome of awesome voices," commented Chloe29 on allkpop. "And then, combined with Bobby's rapping skills, it would be a killer! I'm excited!"

This is not the first time Lee Hi and Suhyun have collaborated as singers.

On episode 10 of the talent search program "Who is Next: WIN," Suhyun and Lee Hi performed alongside Bang Yedam from "K-pop Star" and Suhyun's brother, Lee Chan Hyuk . Both members of Hi Suhyun also participated in collaboration stages on "Mix & Match," the series which ultimately formed YG Entertainment's latest boy group, iKON.

"I'm Different" will feature Bobby, one of the members of iKON. Reportedly, Bobby worked on the song alongside P.K., Rebecca Johnson and Masta Wu.

On November 6, YG Entertainment revealed all seven members of iKON following the final voting round for "Mix & Match." This included Bobby along with B.I., Kim Jinhwan, Koo Junhoe, Kim Donghyuk, Song Yunhyeong and Jung Chanwoo. Sadly, Jung Jinheyong and Yang Hongseok did not garner enough votes to join the group.

"Instead of iCON, I replaced the C with K to represent K-pop," said Yang Hyun Suk during a press conference for "Mix & Match." "I hope iKON will become a group that represents Korea."

The latest poster image for Hi Suhyun also foreshadow the unit might not be the only unit project in the works for the company's artists. At the bottom of the image depicting Suhyun, Bobby and Lee Hi is the distinction, "YG Collaboration Project 001."
